Chief Minister’s Directives (CMDs) Dashboard is specifically designed for the purpose of tracking and tracing the progress of CMDs issued in respect of development and non-development schemes. As of today, around 17736 CMDs have been issued, whereas out of them 4864 are implemented and around 1768 were regretted due to the fact that such are not covered under the rules and regulations in vogue. Besides, 11094 directives are around under process, where the Administrative Departments(s) have taken further necessary actions. 

As for as Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell is concerned, for the month of May 2023 around 624 public complaints were received, out of them around 589 were resolved, whereas, only 35 are under process. Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell role has been very active throughout the Floods 2022, as of today 2633 complaints have been received since Jan 2023 and 2547 complaints have been resolved.

The interaction of the 919 Cell with the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Rehabilitation Department and with all Deputy Commissioners has been proactive, and responsive throughout the 2022 Floods to address complaint cells s. Thus, besides addressing distress calls around the clock, a mechanism has been developed to ensure the Early Warning System (EWS) is introduced and implemented in the field.

This required direct interventions and dissemination of rainfall forecasts has also set a new trend in public service, where not only Deputy Commissioners are directed to comply, respond and address flood-related issues in rural and urban areas. Not only through Chief Minister, Sindh Rainfall Portal is transmitting each demand raised by Deputy Commissioners closely, but also ensures that necessary Relief, Rescue, and Rehabilitation (RRR) phases are also timely followed up by all stakeholders. The input collected from the field i..e, from Deputy Commissioners (all) for the Relief, Rescue, and Rehabilitation projects in lieu of Flood 2022 was given considerable appreciation, and later evidence-based data collected later used for policy recommendations along with being an important ingredient of several World Bank funded projects designed under SDG section of Planning and Development Department Government of Sindh.

Likewise, other dashboards are developed in Chief Minister’s Secretariat for different assignments from time to time thereby monitoring the performance of the assignments as well as officers of the Govt. of Sindh engaged for that matter. Officers of the Chief Minister’s secretariat convene meetings with the Focal persons of the concerned departments for prompt and timely disposal of the Chief Minister’s Directives

The biometric with facial recognition system exists in the Chief Ministers’ Secretariat to ensure punctuality and commitment by officers for disposal of official affairs of the secretariat
