CM Murad Ali Shah Lauds KATI’s 55 Years of Industrial Excellence
Posted on: 26 Sep 2025 Tags:KARACHI (Sept 25): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday praised the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) for its over five decades of service to Sindh’s industrial growth, calling it “a shining example of what determination and collaborative effort can achieve.”
Speaking at the 55th annual awards ceremony of KATI, the chief minister congratulated the association’s leadership, members, and industrialists for their contributions since its inception in 1970. “Today’s event commemorates 55 years of KATI’s outstanding progress and crucial role in Sindh’s industrial advancement,” he said, adding that KATI had set new benchmarks through innovation, hard work, and environmental responsibility.
Murad Shah reaffirmed his government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, citing ongoing investments in roads, transport, logistics, modern industrial parks, and renewable energy initiatives to ensure a reliable power supply. He said steps were also being taken to streamline regulations and cut bureaucratic hurdles to support industrial growth.
“These initiatives will not only accelerate development but also generate wider economic opportunities for entrepreneurs and workers,” Shah said. He assured KATI of the provincial government’s continued cooperation, stressing that a prosperous and bright Sindh was a “shared goal” between the government and industry.
