CM’s message on Mir Murtaza Bhutto’s death anniversary

KARACHI (Sept 20): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has issued a statement on the 29th death anniversary of Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, paying tribute to his sacrifice and the legacy of the Bhutto family.

The Chief Minister noted that Mir Murtaza Bhutto, son of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, was martyred at a young age. He described the assassination of Murtaza Bhutto as a plot to undermine democracy in Pakistan, adding that the reality of this conspiracy has become evident over time.

He asserted that authoritarian regimes have consistently targeted the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

“The great sacrifices of the Bhutto family form a golden chapter in the nation’s history,” Syed Murad Ali Shah stated. “The sacrifices made by Shaheed Bhutto and his family are an illustrious part of our history, and the Bhuttos have always given their lives for the rights of the people.”
