Sindh CM attends SENWA oath-taking, Mehfil-e-Milad at New Secretariat

KARACHI (Oct 24): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah administered the oath to the newly elected Sindh Secretariat Employees Non-Gazetted Welfare Association (SENWA) office-bearers at New Secretariat.

 

Upon arrival at the Secretariat, the CM was received by Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Secretary General Administration Muhammad Ali Khoso, Secretary Ghulam Nabi Barhamani, and SENWA office-bearers.

 

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Waheed Qadri, followed by a soulful Mehfil-e-Milad gathering in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

 

MNA Nabeel Gabol, Sindh Government Spokesperson Sunita Afzal, religious scholar Allama Hafiz Ghulam Muhammad Soho, renowned naat khawans, and other distinguished guests attended the event.

 

During the ceremony, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah administered the oath to the newly elected SENWA office-bearers, including President Mashooq Mangrejo , General Secretary Gul Hameed Baloch, Senior Vice President Faisal Memon, Vice President Bilawal Junejo and Finance Secretary Makhdoom Wali Muhammad.

 

On the occasion, SENWA President Mashooq Mungarijo presented an Ajrak to the Chief Minister, while General Secretary Gul Hameed adorned him with a Sindhi topi. Vice President Bilawal Junejo also presented an Ajrak and topi to Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah as a gesture of respect.

 

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah congratulated SENWA for organising a beautiful Mehfil-e-Milad in honour of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

 

“I congratulate SNEWA for decorating this spiritual gathering in praise of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). May Almighty Allah shower His blessings upon all of us and upon our beloved land of Sindh,” the Chief Minister said. He added that the government highly values its employees and appreciates their commitment and service.

 

“You all are very important to us, and I thank you all sincerely,” he concluded.
