Sindh CM expresses deep grief over passing of Former CM Aftab Shabaan Mirani

KARACHI (Nov 1): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former chief minister Aftab Shabaan Mirani.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Mr Mirani was a close associate of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and remained an invaluable asset of the Pakistan Peoples Party.

Mr Shah said that Mr Mirani had the honour of working with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Murad Ali Shah described the late Mirani as a man of integrity, humility, and dignity. “May Allah Almighty grant him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous,” he prayed.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the PPP leadership, and party workers, sharing in their grief and loss.

CM Murad Shah attends funeral of former CM Aftab Shaban Mirani

KARACHI (Nov 1): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the residence of the late Aftab Shaban Mirani to express condolences with the bereaved family. A large number of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders were also present at the residence.

The Chief Minister carried the coffin of the late Aftab Shaban Mirani and accompanied it to Masjid Bait-ul-Salam, where the funeral prayers were offered. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah attended the funeral prayer along with senior party members.

The late Aftab Shaban Mirani, who served as Chief Minister of Sindh, was laid to rest at Gizri graveyard. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Saeed Ghani, Waqar Mehdi, Imtiaz Sheikh, and other PPP leaders attended the burial proceedings.

At the gravesite, a floral wreath was laid on behalf of the Pakistan Peoples Party. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Waqar Mehdi placed the wreath on the grave of Aftab Shaban Mirani as a mark of respect and tribute to his political and public services.
