Sindh Leads Fight Against Polio: CM Murad Ali Shah Praises Workers, Vows Universal Vaccination

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reaffirmed Sindh’s continued leadership in eradicating polio. He said, “Every child’s vaccination is our national duty. A polio-free Sindh is our shared goal.” Mr Shah commended polio workers as “true heroes of the nation,” and highlighted enhanced surveillance and outreach to remote areas.

Murad Shah noted, “eradication of polio is not just a health goal but a measure of our collective achievement.” Sindh continues to work closely with the World Health Organisation and international partners to deliver world-class vaccination and protect every child from disability.

Visit to hospital

Later, Murad Ali Shah visited South City Hospital to check on senior PPP leader and former Chief Minister Aftab Shaban Mirani, presenting a bouquet and wishing him a swift recovery, underscoring his respect for the veteran leader.

The Chief Minister concluded, “Peace, progress, and human dignity remain at the heart of the Sindh Government’s vision,” calling for global unity, responsible technology, and compassion for humanity.
