CM Murad Ali Shah emphasised that public awareness and transparency are vital for sustainable development. He stated, “investment in education, science, and technology is key to building a strong and progressive Sindh,” and stressed that true development must enhance citizens’ quality of life.

Mr Shah also outlined Sindh’s programs targeting poverty reduction, digital transformation, and knowledge-based growth, especially youth empowerment through education and technology.

Global media & information literacy week:

Highlighting the theme “Minds Over AI,” the chief minister stressed that human intellect and ethics must always guide technology. He pointed out the growing importance of media literacy in the age of Artificial Intelligence, and said Sindh is equipping its youth with AI and digital skills to keep pace with global trends.

The Sindh government, in partnership with media, academia, and technology stakeholders, is advancing digital awareness, ethical AI practices, and responsible communication. Initiatives like the Sindh Cloud First Policy and the Sindh IT Company are helping strengthen digital governance across provincial departments. “Our goal is to build a Digital Sindh rooted in innovation, inclusion, and sustainability,” Mr Shah said.
