Sindh govt dispatches water plant, 10 trucks loaded with ration to for Flood-Affected People of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Posted on: 16 Aug 2025 Tags:KARACHI (August 16): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has dispatched a water filtration plant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 10 trucks loaded with ration bags and other essential food items for the flood-affected families
Murad Shah expressed solidarity with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) affected by recent floods, announcing immediate relief measures on behalf of the Sindh government.
The Chief Minister, after his contact with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), directed Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah to send a water filtration plant to KP according to their needs and ordered the immediate dispatch of 10 trucks loaded with ration bags and other essential food items for flood-affected families. “The Sindh government stands firmly with our brothers and sisters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this difficult time,” Murad Ali Shah said.
Separately, the Chief Minister held a telephonic conversation with the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, extending condolences over the loss of lives caused by the floods. The Sindh CM Secretariat also established contact with the GB CM Secretariat to coordinate possible assistance.
Murad Ali Shah conveyed deep grief over the human losses in Gilgit-Baltistan and assured that the People’s Party government will extend every possible support to the flood-hit population of the region. “The Sindh government shares the pain of our brothers in Gilgit-Baltistan and will provide all possible assistance in this time of need,” he affirmed.
